You have several years of professional experience in compositing and in production management including complex compositing for films and commercials. You like to deal with clients, are self-confident and demonstrate creativity in the production of pictures.
After your training/degree in fine arts, art design or painting you worked in an artistic field involving the use of a broad range of technologies and computer programmes. You are well grounded in the field of film- and video technology and have creative potential for our project’s completion phase. You are proficient in Nuke as well as Adobe’s Photoshop and After Effects. You know what it means to have responsibility and coordinate projects within a production team . Your communication skills are excellent.
You will work within our 3D department, contribute to our current productions and handle given tasks reliably and on your own responsibility. Dependent on your interests and your talent you will be in charge of at least one subtask of a 3D production such as modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, simulation or lighting & rendering.
You have at least one year of professional experience and are highly motivated to quickly become acquainted with different tasks. You are proficient in at least one of the well-established 3D software, ideally Softimage XSI, and are well grounded in using this software in all different stages of a 3D production. We would prefer if you also were well experienced in current compositing software as well as in mental ray.
As Technical Director for Rendering & Lighting we expect you to have an especially good sense for color, shapes, lighting and camera. You should have creative potential to bring out the best in 3D scenes and 3D models. At the same time your technical knowledge enables you to achieve the desired results with Arnold. Your main tasks within our team include texturing, shading, lighting, rendering and pre-compositing – everything in close collaboration with clients and producers.

You have a good sense for spaces, are confident in using pencil and paper and have already some experience with 3D. You should be able to work with at least one of the well-established 3D software like XSI, Maya or 3D Max.

You should have experience with the interaction of different image layers – especially with the combination of real and graphic elements. You are well-grounded in handling at least one of the current compositing software like Nuke or After FX.
You support our art department in all matters. You will be responsible for research, have an active role in the concept development and you are involved in the creation of presentations. As part of our production you will also help our team with design templates.
In addition to very good drawing skills and an understanding of aesthetics, you have very good knowledge of Photoshop. Experience with AfterFX and basic knowledge of 3D software is a plus.

As a working artist you are of course up to date with current Software packages including but not limited to: Maya, Nuke, XSI etc.
Last but not least, you can communicate in well in English, understand that this job requires variable hours of service and may occasionally require some domestic and international travel.
During your time with us as apprentice, you will receive first hand experience and a comprehensive view and take on the planning, as well as actively taking part in the execution and follow up of our projects.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATION
You are a high school graduate possessing University level entrance skills and are very interested in the production strategies in Advertising, TV, FILM and Web. You are quick witted and are able to work in a structured manner and love to organize projects by yourself and in a team environment. You speak both German and English at a professional business level and can communicate not only verbally but written, in both languages. Of course you are also proficient with the use of various computer programs and have had experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.
Your responsibilities include supporting our producer. You are especially helpful in researching, proposal preparation, project coordination as well as in customer service.
First and Foremost you are very talented when it comes to organisational and communicational skills and your knowledge is based on an industry-related apprenticeship or you have almost to finished an apprenticeship. Ideally, you have experience with digital post-production, especially in the field of animation/3D and compositing. We are looking for a co-operative, team-oriented and independent co-worker who is flexible and also able to work under pressure. Acting in clients‘ interests and good foreign language skills (at least in English) as well as profound IT skills (e.g. Word, Excel and Filemaker) are a matter of course to you. You are friendly and enjoy dealing with people.

We support new talent by providing internships or traineeships for professions such as digital media designer (specializing in design and technology) or computer engineer (specializing in system integration). An internship at our company takes one year. The duration of a traineeship takes two and a half to three years, depending on your qualification and school education.
